Highlights from r10’s International Women’s Day Panel Event

The event was a great success, with attendees from diverse backgrounds coming together to celebrate and discuss the achievements and challenges faced by women in the workforce. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all who attended and contributed to the insightful conversation.

Our panel of inspiring women, including Lorraine Candy, Tamara Howe, Rachel Wilson, Maneeze Chowdhury, and Hélène Stanway, provided invaluable insights into issues such as gender inequality, imposter syndrome, and leadership. The discussion was thought-provoking and empowering, inspiring attendees to take action towards creating a more equitable and supportive work environment.

We believe that the insights and discussions during the event can serve as a source of inspiration and empowerment, even for those unable to attend. As such, we wanted to provide you with a summary of the key takeaways:

  • Gender inequality is still prevalent in the workforce, and both women and men need to work towards creating a more equitable and supportive environment.
  • Imposter syndrome is a common challenge women face, and it is important to recognise and overcome it to achieve one’s goals.
  • Leadership comes in many forms, and it is important to acknowledge and celebrate the diverse ways women lead.
  • The importance of using our voice on the table and hero’ing other women in the workplace.

We want to express our gratitude once again to all who attended and contributed to the event. We believe such events are crucial for fostering allyship, promoting diversity and inclusion, and inspiring action towards creating a more equitable world.

Thank you for your time, and we look forward to seeing you at future events.
