ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager, who will play a crucial role for orchestrating and overseeing all Quality Assurance activities for the Blueprint Two Project. This project entails coordinating various testing efforts, managing day-to-day activities, and presenting comprehensive QA reports critical for project sign-off.

ASSIGNMENT OBJECTIVES: 

  • Coordinate and manage all QA activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and other QA work specific to Blueprint Two Phase 1 changes.
  • Provide regular status reports to the Project Manager on all QA-related activities.
  • Coordinate and manage test activity.
  • Collate and review all forms of assurance published by client, incorporating relevant information into the final QA report.
  • Create, collate, and present an overall Quality Assurance project, integrating external sources referenced in the assurance review to inform the final QA recommendation.
  • Manage day-to-day activities related to QA and ensure timely reporting.
  • Oversee, manage, and coordinate regression testing activities for Subscribe, Elgar, Docosoft, Data Warehouse (DWH), and downstream systems.
  • Own and manage the overall QA strategy for Blueprint collaborating with other stakeholders involved in its design.
  • Stay updated with testing activities across the market to ensure it functions effectively within the market community.
  • Develop a comprehensive end-to-end test plan and approach.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL-SET

  • Experience of reviewing and articulating testing outcomes as part of the Quality Assurance/Governance sign off within a major project of change.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of the Lloyd’s market and its processes, ideally from a carrier perspective.
  • Be able to establish positive stakeholder relationships by adopting a consultative approach and advanced understanding of test measurement and reporting.
  • In depth understanding of how to define & manage risks, issues & interdependencies as they relate to projects/programmes.
  • External stakeholder management experience.
  • Proven experience in managing QA activities within complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of UAT, regression testing, and defect management processes.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
  • Experience of using: Subscribe, Elgar, Docosoft, DWH and downstream systems.
  • Proficiency in creating comprehensive test plans and reports.
